I did it. I signed up for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Plano. It is on Saturday, June 7th. I am planning to do the 1-mile walk rather than the 5K walk/run since I don't have much energy these days.
Many of my friends have asked what they can do to help me. I've received wonderful food, gifts, cards, and prayers from so many of you. Yet you still ask me what more you can do to help. My dream is that they find a cure for this scary disease in my lifetime. This walk is my personal first step toward that dream.
